The Lab Technician will analyze sample prep and performing extractions of cannabis products, operation, and maintenance of analytical, purification and extraction instruments and report findings to lab manager. The goal is to optimize lab procedures and succeed in producing reliable and important results that can be used.

Preferred Experience

We work with all different kinds of oil manufacturers. Experience in high volume crude production, removing pesticides from crude oil, and winterizing crude oil is huge in the market today. In addition, knowing how to extract with different solvents such as ethanol, butane, propane, and more. Experience with clean BioMass is helpful.

C1D1 Labs works with Columbo Labs to provide consulting and training to lab technicians. We make sure that our Class one division one extraction labs are used to the fullest capacity. If you want to learn a little more IP, just let us know!

Essential Functions

  • Manufacture, label, and analyze product.
  • Organize and store all product and gasses according to safety and company standards.
  • Record all data and results in specified forms with accuracy and on time.
  • Maintain equipment and assist in ordering lab supplies.
  • Cleans, assembles, disassembles, and replaces equipment as required.
  • Tests functional performance of assembly.
  • Maintains and monitors equipment as necessary to ensure continued accuracy.
  • Performs 100 percent functional extractions of all cannabis material with the equipment in accordance with the accepted procedures.
  • Records results on seed-to-sale software.
  • Keeps department and surrounding areas clean and free of foreign object damage.
  • Keeps supervisor advised of work status, workload, problems, and progress as related to work assignments.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelors of Science or 2 years’ minimum of related experience/lab operations.
  • OR training courses completed by Columbo Labs
