Modular High-Hazard Storage & Processing Rooms
Looking to build a project that may exceed the Maximum Allowable Quantities (MAQs) for a Group F-1 occupancy? No problem. Our new line of modular high-hazard storage and processing rooms provides a flexible solution for facilities that need to safely store, handle, and process larger quantities of hazardous materials.
With fire-resistance ratings up to 4 hours, our modular rooms can be engineered to support Group H high-hazard occupancies and provide a dedicated, code-conscious space for hazardous material storage and processing. These rooms are designed for rapid installation and can be incorporated into new construction or existing industrial facilities.
Increase On-Site Hazardous Material Storage Capacity
When your operation exceeds building-level MAQs for hazardous materials, a dedicated high-hazard room can provide the additional separation and protection needed to support your process. Our modular systems can be engineered around your specific hazardous materials, quantities, storage requirements, ventilation needs, fire protection systems, and local building and fire code requirements.
These modular high-hazard rooms are ideal for applications involving:
Flammable and combustible liquids
Solvent storage and processing
Chemical manufacturing and processing
Hazardous material storage
Corrosive acids and chemicals
Oxidizers and reactive materials
Industrial chemical storage
Pharmaceutical and laboratory applications
Battery and advanced manufacturing processes
Industrial extraction and solvent processing
Hazardous waste and chemical storage areas
C1D1 Solvent & Flammable Material Rooms
For facilities handling flammable solvents, hydrocarbons, and other hazardous chemicals, our rooms can be engineered as Class I, Division 1 (C1D1) hazardous locations where required. These systems can incorporate appropriate explosion-resistant construction, hazardous-location electrical components, mechanical ventilation, gas detection, emergency shutdown systems, fire suppression, and other safety features based on the specific application.
C1D1 rooms can be configured for both hazardous material storage and processing operations, providing a dedicated environment for applications where flammable vapors may be present.
Corrosive Chemical & Acid Storage Rooms
Our modular systems can also be engineered for corrosive chemicals, acids, and other hazardous materials that require specialized containment and construction. Interior finishes, flooring, secondary containment, ventilation, and other components can be selected based on the chemicals being stored or processed.
This makes our modular high-hazard rooms suitable for facilities that need dedicated acid storage rooms, corrosive material rooms, chemical storage rooms, or hazardous processing areas.
Modular Construction. Faster Installation.
Unlike conventional site-built hazardous rooms, our modular approach allows much of the room to be engineered and fabricated before arriving at your facility. This can reduce field construction time and simplify coordination between contractors, engineers, fire protection professionals, and permitting authorities.
Modular high-hazard rooms can be designed as standalone structures or integrated into existing industrial buildings, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and processing plants.
Whether you need a C1D1 solvent room, flammable liquid storage room, corrosive chemical room, high-hazard processing room, or Group H occupancy solution, our engineering team can develop a modular system around your facility’s specific requirements.
