Dimpled Jacketed Tanks
Having a jacket on a tank during an extraction process will allow the client to chill or heat by adding fluid to the outside of the tank. A client would also be able to maintain desired temperatures by holding a vacuum (negative pressure) inside the jacket of the tank giving it a layer of insulation.
Keeping your solvent and solutions at the needed temperatures with dimpled jacketed tanks throughout the process helps the end results a manufacturer is looking. Dimpled jackets allow for a larger heating and cooling transfer area. This increase in efficiency can help with both decreased times for cooling and energy cost.
We recommend using dimpled tanks for storing cold ethanol, rewashing ethanol with a centrifuge or even to warm up solution prior to evaporating crude and ethanol mixtures in a falling film evaporator.
