With the market taking a turn towards high quality, small batch, healthy full spectrum product…there has become a big demand for hydrocarbon extraction systems in the recent months. While larger multi-state operators are still profiting off distillates in more closed off states, others are competing with larger markets with their quality in products.
Higher quality products created by hydrocarbon extraction equipment being released to market will do several things to the market trend in consumer sales. We think the biggest influence with butane extracts going to market will be education in products compounds, such as cannabinoids and terpenes. In the past, THC percentages in a ratio to product cost and quantity has controlled the market. However, creating products that are full spectrum butane extracts will allow retail consumers to experience different types of highs created by the formulations of these compounds which the small batch quality growers aim for. Full spectrum butane extraction products’ effects will educate these retail consumers that sativa vs indica / thc percentages aren’t the final decision when purchasing. It’s actually interesting to think that these indica / sativa labels came from Jean-Baptiste Lamarck labeling the plants from their physical properties in 1785. It’s highly doubtful this biologist was smoking the plant and “inda-couch”. Further our current strains are so cross strained, most flowers and oils have genetics from both indica and sativa plants. Many industry leaders will argue that holding back this education is the actual goal of market share leaders trying to push quality products and legacy owners under a capital carpet. Others may view it deeper, and say that with the spread of recreational products and regulations…that bigger corporations and industries don’t want this healthy education in the hands of retail consumers and want to isolate the compounds rather than ingesting them together to fully activate all of your cannabinoid receptors.
To take it a step further, many manufacturers who came from legacy backgrounds knew this was the future of the retail market. However, for a while the barrier of entry to hydrocarbon was a threat to the big players in the industry. Our company creating affordable extraction equipment and certifications for this style of extraction made the cost of creating a licensed extraction facility much lower than the styles of extraction they were pushing. C02 extraction was a much higher cost, and the companies who owned market share from capital raises in Canada were heavily trying to cut out the small batch legacy market by eliminating hydrocarbon extraction with incorrect education to municipalities! C1D1 Labs and Butane Extraction Equipment saw how this would cut out our friends, lower consumer education, and strip away the industry from it’s core values and potential in product. We heavily educated the markets leading municipalities, lowered the barrier of entry with equipment certifications, and took the most expensive part of the build (c1d1 extraction rooms) and made them affordable too.
Our goal is to preserve the intentions of the legacy owners while creating a long lasting industry that benefits society with healthy products while keeping manufacturers safe. We hope to see you on our path.
